For our 1st Club Assembly of this Rotary Year 122, Sergeant at Arms Past President Paul opened the meeting with a bang on the gong and welcomed the visiting Rotarians and guests. On behalf of our President Napa, Past President Brian presented a detailed overview of our club’s leadership structure and membership, recent and upcoming events, and the list of community service projects completed so far this Rotary year.
Treasurer Albert presented our club’s current financial status in accurate detail as usual and Rotarian Chris explained the program for our upcoming bicycle tour on 3 October, to raise funds for our ongoing “Library For Literacy” projects in local schools. The afternoon culminated with a delicious lunch buffet and Rotarian Patrick was the lucky winner of the bottle of wine for the day.
While we provide updates on our club events and service projects at every meeting, Club Assemblies are held quarterly to summarize our initiatives over the three-month period as well as the latest information from District 3330, Rotary Thailand and Rotary International. Frequent updates on our activities and projects can also be viewed online through our club’s website and Facebook pages.
