World Polio Day

World Polio Day was commemorated in Rotary District 3330 by all clubs in the 30 areas participating in a tree planting day on the 24th October. Rotary International has provided 44.7 million USD in grants to fight polio, with only two countries in the world now having the virus. RC Hua Hin was joined by RC Royal Hua Hin, RC Pranburi and RC Prachuab Khiri Khan, Rotaractor's from the University of Stamford, Webster and Rajamangala also took part. The event was held at the Rajamangala University of Technology in Kao Tao where 100 hundred mango trees were planted. Area 16 were pleased to welcome District Governor Chalermchat Chun -In and his wife Nitaya at the event.
