Rotary International celebrates globally world Polio day on the 24th October every year. Pakistan and Afghanistan are the only two countries left in the world that have a small number of cases of wild Polio. The eradication of the disease is getting closer.

To commemorate this special Rotary day the Rotary club of Hua Hin organised a blood bank day at the Red Cross clinic in Hua Hin where around 50 people donated blood.

The Rotary Club of Royal Hua Hin and the Rotaractor's of Rajamangala University were invited to support the day.
In addition Assistant Governor Gianni Battistini was asked to give a presentation on the history of World Polio Day and Rotary's part in helping to all but eradicate it.

Another successful joint venture between Rotary Clubs of Hua Hin, Royal Hua Hin and Rotaractors.
