On Wednesday 30th October 2019 the Rotary Club Royal Hua Hin welcomed Dr Michael Gubser of the Help4People Foundation from Switzerland to Hua Hin. Dr Gubser attended the weekly meeting on Tuesday 29th October where he was updated on the Anuban Hua Hin Nongkhon School project and had the opportunity to personally visit the School.
Dr Gubser and his foundation generously donated Thai Baht 183,937 to the above project which was presented to the school on the 20th September 2019.
In the evening President Napa, Dr Gubser , Immediate Past President Sergeant at Arms Brian Anderson, Vice President Michel Zuber and other Rotarians visited the La Grappa restaurant in Hua Hin to thank Dr Gubser for his Generosity and visit to Hua Hin.
During the meal Dr Gubser pledged a further US Dollars 10,000 to a worthwhile project that the Rotary Club Royal Hua Hin is sponsoring and will be used to develop the Rotary Education Center at the Anuban Hua Hin Nongkhon school in 2020.
During the evening a certificate was presented to Peter Kirketep the owner of La Grappa for his generous support of the 2019 Amateur golf classic at Banyan golf club on the 29th November 2019. Peter has been a long time supporter of the golf tournament and the Rotary Club Royal Hua Hin in general as 4 years ago he donated Thai Baht 300,000 to the Education Project.
