On Thursday 12th December 3 Rotaractors from Stamford International University Ms Chorthipchada Samosorn President, Ms Bunsita Suttidung and Ms Wipawadee Rattana gave the first of a series of presentations themed “Say No To Plastic Waste” as part of the ongoing Environmental Sustainability project supported by the Rotary Club of Royal Hua Hin.
The Rotaractors delivered their presentation to nearly 100 hundred students and members of the teaching staff from the Baan Anuban Hua Hin Nongkhon school. They spoke about the wild life, plant life and how various types of pollution such as Industrial, transport and the indiscriminate disposal of plastic waste was having a major effect on our planets ecological systems and contributing to global warming.
 
Even when the Rotaractors had a technology failure they carried on involving the students in games asking them to get the other students to guess what animal they were and sing songs, until the IT was fixed.
 
The event was chaired by the Rotary Club of Royal Hua Hin President Napa Keawtem and supported by Rotarians Peter Wydler, Michel Zuber, Richard Jones, Alan Cooper.
 
At the end of each session the students were presented with reusable shopping bags as part of the project.
