The Rotary Club of Royal Hua Hin celebrated the 114th Birthday since Paul Harris started Rotary in Chicago on the 23rd February 1905. On this day the first Rotary Club was created and named Rotary club of Chicago.  There was an excellent turnout from over 40 Rotarians including President Steve Wiltshire and PP Charlie Bro of RC Nedlands in Australia, family and friends and Lizzy Ginsel from Sunshine Hua Hin.

The beachfront venue for this event was a well-known watering hole frequented by some Rotarian’s known as the Coconut bar at the end of Soi 77.

The attendees were able to relax on the golden sands of Hua Hin beach and watch the sun slowly set whilst enjoying a selection of beers, wines, and spirits served happily by the staff of the bar. Food was also available for those that required more substance other than beverages.

Congratulations to the Rotary family worldwide and we plan to do it again for RI Year 115.
