On Thursday 23rd May 2019, several members of the Rotary Club of Royal Hua Hin attended the Stamford International University Rotaractor's annual International Charity Night 2019, an event co-organised by the Rotaractors, RCRHH, Hua Hin Market Village and Stamford International University.

The party was held at Hua Hin Market Village forecourt with the purpose of raising funds for the Rotaract Club of SIU, enabling them to complete their University Social responsibility activities, a charity project to help support 11 Patrol Police Schools in Prachuabkirikhan, at the border of Thailand.  The first part of the project has been completed already over the weekend of 11th - 12th May 2019.  CLICK HERE FOR THAT STORY.
The main event of this evening was a Bohemian Costume Contest, and some Rotarians made a modest effort to fit in!  There were some excellent shows on stage and food and drink on sale at the many international stalls.  PE Napa Keawtem and Rtn Martin Harrison were asked to judge the competition once again, and as last year the standard was so high it was sometimes difficult to make a clear decision.

RCRHH sponsored the event with 10,000 Baht for the cash prizes for the costume contest, Market Village supported the space in front of the department store and other equipment such backdrop, table, chairs etc and Stamford International University with 40,000 Baht for the food stalls, shows, costumes and decorations.

Members paid B200 for a VIP entrance ticket which included a reserved table and food.

Another excellent evening with credit going to the Stamford International University Rotaractors and Rotarian Benjamas Uamsa-Ard for their efforts in organising and putting together such a great occasion to ultimately help less fortunate children.
