On Wednesday 24th July 2019 Stamford International University held its student club day to encourage new members to join their Rotaract Club.  The SIU Rotaractors are one of 32 Clubs in District 3330, and this is the largest number of Rotaractor Clubs in Thailand.
Rotaract clubs bring together people aged 18-30 (membership ends on reaching 31) to exchange ideas with leaders in their communities, develop leadership and professional skills, and have fun through service.

Benjamas Uamsa-Ard who is responsible for youth and Rotaract clubs for the Rotary Club Royal Hua Hin commented that the Rotaract Club of Stamford International University was the most popular student club at the club day.

President Aoy talked briefly about what is Rotaract, what they do and the objectives of the club and Immediate Past President Mark also talked about having more friends, building the network among other Rotaractors around Thailand and other Countries.

The event was attended by 13 student clubs including the dance, music, arts, Chinese and football clubs.
Currently the SIU Rotaract club has 20 members but after yesterday a further 33 students have signed up making 53 members.  They plan to hold their first meeting with the new members to inform them about the club, its objectives and regulations next week.

President Napa Keawtem praised Rotarian Khun Benjamas on her ongoing commitment to both the RCRHH and the Rotaractors at both Stamford International University and Webster University.
