On Saturday 25th and Sunday 26th March the Rotary Club of Royal Hua Hin joined forces with Bangkok Hospital, and the Spine Clinic to undertake a joint community medical project at the Anuban Hua Hin Nongkhon School.
The project was arranged into 3 key areas, Bangkok Hospital would provide basic medical advice and some medicines, Spine Clinic would provide advice and simple treatment on Osteopathic, Chiropractic, massage and acupuncture. The Rotary Club of Royal Hua Hin would provide a live food station and drinks for the two days.

The event was advertised by the school, for the local community of Hin Lek Fai, it was anticipated that we could provide support for up to 150 people a day.

The event was well supported by our Rotarian and Rotary Anns, who provided translation services to Spine Clinic, admin support for the doctors, cooking and serving food.  In addition, the school Director and many of the teachers gave up their holiday to come and support the project.

Although during the planning we were unsure how many people would attend the event turned out a resounding success with over 350 people receiving medical advice, 340 meals being served, and 400 sandwiches provided plus 600 bottles of drinking water.

The Rotary Club of Royal Hua Hin would like to thank former Rotarian Jimmy from Thai Thai Curtains Hua Hin who donated 400 rice cups for the two days, and Hua Hin Gas PTT who donated the gas to cook the food. PP Brian Anderson also distributed vouchers for the safe Roads Save Lives Initiative.
