On Saturday 22nd February 2020 the Rotary Club of Royal Hua Hin presented certificates to Dr Michael Gubser who founded the Help4People Foundation in Switzerland and Meinolf and Chayanan Jeurgens who run MJ Additives in Pranburi.
Dr Gubsur who donated USD 10,000 in September 2019 towards the Baan Hua Hin Nongkhon School new school building has contributed a further USD 10,000 to the new Rotary Education Centre project that will be based in the above school.

Meinolf and Chayanan Jeurgens donated Thai Baht 200,000 to the same project.

Following RCRHH support for the construction of the new school building the school has provided two classrooms, converted into one large one that will be used for the Rotary Education Center which will introduce Technology Enhanced Learning of Knowledge (TELK) into the school curriculum later this year.

This project is one of two flagship education projects being undertaken by the club and has attracted keen interest from Thailand's Ministry of Education as the TELK project will be a first in Thailand.

The classroom is due to be completed by the end of March with the whole school building planned to be completed by the end of May 2020.

Work is ongoing to raise the substantial funding required to support the project in terms of IT Equipment, classroom work stations an IT support.

From the pictures below the construction of both the building and the classroom are well under way.
