On Wednesday 6th November 2019 the 3330 District Governor Sakon Uengsroithong and his wife Siriphat Uengsroithong from the RC Yala in the south of Thailand paid an official visit to the Rotary Club Royal Hua Hin.
Joining the DG Sakon and his wife was Assistant District Governor Aumapon Kovitsirkul from the Rotary Club Pranburi.
 
In the morning the DG Sakon met the board members and discussed the running of RCRHH and in particular asked for updates on the clubs finances, membership, projects and how it approached public image. Overall the DG informed the board that the administration of the club was excellent and that within the Rotary District 3330 the RCRHH was seen as a big club and praised the work of the Board of Directors and its members.
 
The lunch meeting was attended by 18 members and 18 guests including a large group from Sunshine International and senior officers from the local police.

President Napa Introduced the DG and his wife to the members and provided a brief biography of the DG’s history in Rotary and in the true tradition of RCRHH Immediate Past President  and President Elect Brian Anderson presented a slide show of pictures of DG Sakon and his wife Siriphat undertaking their duties as Rotarians and of their home and family life.
 
In response DG Sakon stated that he had never received an introduction such as this at any other club he had visited.
P Napa presented DG Sakon, his wife Siriphat and ADG Aumapon with commemorative T Shirts of Rotary Club Royal Hua Hin “10 years of Rotary in Action” In his reply to the club members and their guests DG Sakon posed the question why do the foreigners in this club do so much work to help the people of Thailand in Hua Hin and surrounding areas. PP Paul Grab replied "it’s more of a pleasure to give than take".
 
DG Sakon added that although the club is represented by 15 nationalities they all share the same blood, the blood ofRotary and are brothers and sisters of the Rotary clubs here in Thailand. DG Sakon went on to say that he was proud of the work the RCRHH was undertaking and hope they would continue supporting the communities.
 
Following this IPP, PE Brian Anderson was presented with a certificate by P Napa, Vice President (VP) Michel and Secretary Phil thanking the Chiva-Som International Health Resort and Spa in Hua Hin for their generous support of the 2019 Amateur Golf classic on the 27th November by donating a voucher valued at Thai Baht 190,674 for a package to stay at the hotel for two people.
