The Rotary Club of Royal Hua Hin have recently acquired a new Sister Club.  Treasurer Peter Wydler travelled to Koh Samui to join the Charter Installation Ceremony of the Rotary Club of Samui – Phangan, a new English speaking club, held at the Centara Grand Beach Resort in Chaweng, Koh Samui, on Friday 2 November 2018.
District 3330's Governor Lieutenant General Kanit Jamjuntra was also present and Peter swapped club banners and presented the club with a donation from RCRHH of THB 10,000 toward their community projects.

President Warunee has done a great job in setting this new Club up during the last year and it already has 22 very enthusiastic members.

The Rotary Club of Patong Beach, another of RCRHH Sister Clubs, and who acted as sponsor for the new club, sent a large delegation of members along to celebrate the evening.

RCRHH has signed a Sister Club Agreement with Samui – Phangan, along with Rotary Club of Patong Beach and it was agreed that the three English speaking sister clubs should meet as often as possible to exchange ideas for fundraising and project.

This brings the total of RCRHH Sister Clubs to five:
  • RC Waikiki District D5000 USA (2011) PP Paul Grab
  • RC Bandar Sungai Petani D3300 Malaysia (24 Oct 2014) PP Richard Jones
  • RC Chetelhem D9810 Australia (2017) Rtn. Alan Brown
  • RC Patong Beach D3330 Thailand (2017) PP Gianni Battistini
