Over the 31st October – 2nd November 2018 a record number of 16 members from the Rotary Club of Royal Hua Hin and Rotary Club of Hua Hin plus friends and donors headed by Alan & Nadia Brown from RCRHH made another journey by bus to Siem Reap and then Mongkol Borei for the Cambodia Academy open day.

The two days started with a formal reception held on  the 31st October and then on 1st November the open day itself at the Academy.

Every year on the 1st of November the school year starts in Cambodia.  As a Rotary venture and also through donations and sponsorships many make the pilgrimage to see this wonderful project in the poorest and very remote part of the world.  It also brings the directors together once a year as they are spread out in many parts of the world.

Following the formal welcome and opening visitors were entertained by traditional Cambodian dancing, and looked at some of the work completed by the children at the Academy.
