Annual Fund Raising Golf Tournament a Great Success

Friday 30th November 2018 saw the Rotary Club of Royal Hua Hin hold its 9th Annual Charity Golf Tournament, at the Banyan Golf Club.  This event is the main fundraiser for RCRHH and this year was no disappointment with 112 players taking part and a good number of generous sponsors who made the day a great success,

The hard day on the golf course was followed by a dinner at the Banyan Golf Club with a raffle and an auction that included many valuable and sought after prizes all of which helped to increase the money raised.

The total Funds raised on this year’s Tournament reached a record amount of over THB 1’100’000. All the funds raised in will go towards continuing sustainable projects around Hua Hin and to assist those who are underprivileged or disadvantaged in various ways with emphasis on projects that provide direct benefit for children in rural schools and low income communities.

President Brian Anderson said “We are pleased to share that our 9th Annual Charity Golf tournament was another great fundraising success, with all proceeds dedicated to the implementation of our community service projects for the underprivileged. Our hats are off to the golf organizing committee whose intensive coordination and meticulous planning guaranteed another great day on the green for the participants, and also special thanks to all the local businesses for their generous support to make it happen".
