The annual District 3330 Presidents-Elect Training Seminar (PETS) took place over two days in Samut Prakan province chaired by District Governor-Elect Jakchai with support from our current Governor Dr. Chatchawal, past governors and district leaders as training facilitators. Our Past President Brian attended as our club’s incoming president for Rotary Year 120 and training facilitator along with our club members Past President Dr. Danai and Past President Aree working as facilitators.
DGE Jakchai’s personal motto for leading our district in 2024-2025 is “Take It Easy”, while the new Rotary theme for next year is “The Magic of Rotary”. The event culminated with a festive dinner party celebration and the typical, friendly camaraderie and relationship-building among Rotarians, and the weekend was another great Rotary event meeting with so many old friends as well as new ones.
Rotary International requires PETS to be held every year to prepare the incoming club presidents of the 103 clubs in our district for their year of service through informative training sessions, team-building activities and networking opportunities.
