Our Rotarians and guests welcomed Ms. Pikul, founder of the Expat Hub in Hua Hin for her presentation on the Long-Term Residence (LTR) visa for expats, including an overview of the 10-year visa option, comparisons with retirement and other visa types, as well as key immigration considerations. The Expat Hub provides a comprehensive range of visa services as well as assistance with accommodation and property, travel and tourism, golf bookings and driver’s licenses.
Club President Brian gave an update on our community service projects in process as well as our recent and upcoming events. Our Rotarian George presented a club banner that he received on his recent visit to the Rotary Club of Anaheim in California. We also welcomed back Past President Dougie, Past President Nigel, and Rotarian Van from the Rotary Club of Bangkok South, and Dougie won the bottle of wine for the day.
The evening became extra special when we joined the dinner and festivities of the Songkran Family Night, hosted by our old friends at the Rotary Club of Pranburi. Many Rotarians and guests attended and a lot of fun was had by all at the inimitably Thai Rotary party.
