Please join our club lunch meeting for an insightful presentation on the new organic produce purchasing platform “Truly Organic” by Nat Ponkrida, a former Rotaractor of Assumption University in Bangkok. Associated with the Thailand Organic Consumer Association, this local initiative is meant to facilitate the exchange of organic produce from the farmer to the consumer and drive sustainable development among health, environment and economics, drawing inspiration from successful models in developed markets. Mission Statement "This organic platform is dedicated to transforming the organic market by addressing the challenges of a value-driven yet complex industry, often tainted by shady transactions within the supply chain. By establishing a transparent and accountable governance structure, the platform aims to build trust and accountability among all stakeholders, ensuring every transaction is traceable from farm to table. This initiative is committed to promoting fair pricing practices that respect the work of farmers and provide value to consumers, ultimately creating a balanced, ethical marketplace.
