As part of the Multi Club Weekend, the RCRHH will once again be supporting the RC Bangkapi with their Childrens Day at the Regent Cha-Am Beach Resort. This a great day and volunteers are needed to help transport the disabled children from the coaches to the entertainment area and then to the beach for some time in the sea, and again to serve them lunch. Many of these children have never seen the sea before and it is a very humbling experience to be a part of it. Guests at the hotel also take time to help and organise their own entertainment. Please register as usual if you would like to help at this wonderful day. |

On Monday 13th July there will be a short opening ceremony of the Technology Enhanced Learning for Knowledge project at the Anuban Hua Hin Nongkhon School following completion of the first 3 phases of the project. The realisation of a Rotary Club of Royal Hua Hin dream is happening and one that has the potential to change how education is delivered in Hua Hin. Due to unforseen circumstances the Anubaan Hua Hin Nongkhon School due to the lengthy break caused by Covid-19 feels that it needs more time to prepare for the grand opening of the new school building which the TELK project is part of. Training will start for the teachers as planned tomorrow, however once a date has been provided from the school the opening ceremony will go ahead. |
