I think so I am - Can you Hear my Voice? There are more children born with severe learning difficulties than you think. They include those with Down’s syndrome, autism and cerebral palsy. On a spectrum some of these disabilities are mild but some are severe. The more severe the disability the greater the possibility that these children receive good care but no education. Love is not enough and education is an equal opportunities right for everyone. The great challenge of the 21st century is for parents and teachers to learn to listen and respond sensitively. If we do not, we trap these children into their disability. In Thailand there is a major challenge which in a local way in Hua Hin, for some families, we could seek to resolve. In response to the new presidents request.....this is what I can offer with your support. Keith Humphreys will take a look at this emotive subject and investigate how Rotay can assist. Followed by buffet lunch cost B460. Dress smart casual. Following the meeting guests are invited to join P Brian at the Krailart Niwate Mangrove Ecosystem Preservation Centre, Wat Khao Krailart, Khao Takiab for a 30 minute tour on 1,000 meter elevated boardwalk through the reconstructed wetland. Bring your umbrella! Following the meeting guests are invited to join P Brian on a tour of a local mangrove swamp for abou 30 minutes. Please ensure you register for this event no later than 1800h Monday 8th October 2018 to ensure catering is correct. |
